Veterans Attorney David W. Magann Says Veterans Receive More Benefits Under Unity Agenda

The Tampa-based veteran’s attorney says that the administration’s Unity Agenda is showing signs of delivering on more benefits to the nation’s veterans but more improvements are needed.
According to the Biden Administration’s “Unity Agenda,” the nation owes veterans a debt that can never be completely repaid. The plan, as laid out in the President’s agenda, makes supporting veterans a key pillar.
As a result of this new agenda being rolled out, the President has signed into law approximately 30 bipartisan bills addressing the most important issues veterans face, including the most significant one – the PACT Act – for veterans exposed to burn pits. The President believes that access to health care is a right, not a privilege, especially when it comes to the nation’s veterans.
Last Veterans Day, the President announced his Administration has delivered $163 billion in earned benefits to 6.3 million survivors and veterans. Additionally, they have also processed nearly 2 million disability claims.
Recent reports show that 116 million healthcare appointments were delivered, along with over 5.5 million dental procedures, and assistance and services were provided to more than 74,000 family caregivers. This list of benefits did not stop there. There were new actions introduced to lower veterans’ health care costs, along with no-cost health care for living WWII veterans.
While progress has been made, the process of getting owed veterans benefits is still very complex and can be stressful for former service members and their families. Attorney David W. Magann is a Tampa, Florida-based veterans’ benefits attorney with extensive experience handling the legal issues that many veterans face.
